Fresno originates from Fresno, California and is one of the better varieties for coping with being grown outside as it matures early. Peppers grown outside are not as early to mature or as productive.
This variety produces creamy/white flowers and then upright conical shaped fruit (5cm long by 2cm) that mature from red to green. It is of mild to medium heat with a fantastic flavour. The skin is thick but resists cracking and is great for pickling & salads.
The plant is small to medium (about 50-60cm tall) sturdy but not too bulky and produces quality fruit from end of July onwards.
Worth a try if you have to grow your chilies outside.
Approx 20 seeds per pack.
