Tepin chilli pepper is believed to be the oldest & original wild chilli and is the parent of all domesticated chillies. It got its name from Mexican language meaning 'flea chilli' also called 'Chiltepin'.
The peppers are small, round and red in colour and very hot. The chillies are like little LED lights on a xmas tree. The plant itself is thin & spindly but strong and it does need ‘pinching out’ to help it bush out.
It is a wild variety that may initially be slow to germinate and crop. It may produce higher yields in second year so cut down in late autumn & over-winter in a warm frost-free environment.
Approx 20 seeds per pack.
